Animals have been a meaningful part of my life since childhood—dogs, cats, horses—and now even the wild swans of Prospect Park, Brooklyn. They’ve taught me that some of the deepest connections often happen without words. Through my lens, I bring to life the honest and unforgettable moments that define each relationship, capturing silly antics, playful spirit, and the silent understandings that make every bond one of a kind.
My wife, Anna, and I had the privilege of having our portraits taken with our beloved 14-year-old dog, Ollie, by Lisa. Having worked in the photo industry for nearly 20 years, I’m far more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. But Lisa’s approach to portraiture is filled with kindness and understanding, making the experience truly special. Shortly after our shoot, Ollie passed away. Planning Call
We connect by phone or Zoom to discuss your vision, pick the best date and location, and prepare for your smooth session.
Pre-Session Prep
Within four weeks, we’ll meet in person or via Zoom for an Image Reveal Session where you can review and select your favorite photos. My goal is a fun, stress-free experience resulting in timeless art you’ll cherish.

Booking is easy! Reach out directly by email or phone. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your session date.

All sessions are held outdoors at beautiful locations around Brooklyn, New York. During our planning meeting, we’ll select the perfect spot that suits your dog’s personality and comfort.

Sessions typically last about one hour. This allows plenty of time to capture a variety of natural, relaxed moments without rushing your dog.

We recommend bringing:
Your dog’s favorite toy(s)
Water and a travel bowl, especially on warm days
Treats for positive reinforcement
Any special items that help your dog feel comfortable

Absolutely! Please let me know in advance if you want to include multiple pets so I can plan accordingly.

No worries! I specialize in working with dogs of all ages and temperaments. Sessions are relaxed and paced to make every dog feel comfortable and happy.

Digital files are available for purchase only as complete digital collections.

Within 4 weeks after your session, we’ll schedule a personal Image Reveal Session where you can view and select your favorite images.

We’ll plan for an alternate date if weather conditions aren’t suitable for an outdoor session. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities.

A 50% deposit is required to book your session. The remaining balance and any product purchases are due at the Image Reveal Session. Various payment methods are accepted; details will be provided during booking.

We’ll have an in-person or online Zoom reveal and ordering meeting. This makes placing your order easy, and we’ll discuss what works best for you to enjoy your images—be it wall art, albums, or folio boxes.
